I’m seeing some amount of CSS conflicts between your plugin and something else on my 2017 WP builtin theme (or maybe other plugins?).

Anyway, according to the admin Dashboard widget, the post I’m looking at has quite a few shares, but only shows 0 for all the types on the front end, yet over a hundred total counts. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the support request.

Do you have “Preserve HTTP Counts” checked in Settings > Shared Counts?

When I inspect that URL at SharedCount.com I see 0 shares for the https version and 145 for the http version: https://cl.ly/4ac37fd479aa

What you’re seeing could be because you (1) checked Preserve HTTP Counts, (2) the post updated (grabbing both), then (3) unchecked Preserve HTTP Counts, and the share count cache hasn’t refreshed yet for that post.

Ahh, of course, that makes sense. I did not have the preserve HTTP option set and I did recently change over from HTTP to HTTPS.

Now at first, on the front end, the button counts stayed at zero. On the admin end of the post in question, the Share Counts widget was still showing 0 for all services but the total was 145. I then clicked the widget’s Refresh Counts and voila, all the services’ counts went up.

Will it just take some time to crawl through my site and update all other post counts?

Yes, it will take a few day for the counts to refresh. You can accelerate the process using the Shared Counts – Cache Status addon.
