    Hello,

I am testing the plugin by advancing the date of 4 matches and entering their scores.

I have noticed that when I do this, the [fp-countdown] shortcode advances instead of counting down. It looks like it’s basing its date on the start of the first match, which in my testing is now a previous date.

The completed match continues to appear on the prediction page, rather than disappear as it’s historical. I noticed this comment in your Help file: “If no date is given, the time of the first match of the tournament is used.”

How can I make this the date of the next match instead?

    Many thanks, Jim

    Hi Jim,

If you want the counter to always take the date of the upcoming match, then you can use the shortcode like this [fp-countdown match="next"]. Or you can leave out the match parameter and give a date parameter if you want to countdown to a fixed date. But I think you are looking for the first suggestion.

If you want to hide historical matches from the prediction form there are 2 options: there is an extension plugin that hides closed matches, or simply hide the matches via CSS (they have a different class).
