Countdown is counting up

    Hi Antoine,

    I am using 2.5.4 of the plugin. Based on a previous post on the forum, I have added this shortcode into a page:

    [fp-countdown match=’next’ display=”inline” texts=”none” format=”2″]

    I have changed the dates for the first 4 matches and entered scores to test, so my next match is June 11 2016. However, the above shortcode is counting up the way, instead of down the way – 24 secs, 25secs, 26secs etc.

    Countdown to next match: 18 days, 14 hours, 8 minutes, 24 seconds

    I’ve changed the single quotes around ‘next’ to double quotes, but it hasn’t made any difference.

    Can you help?

    The shortcode defaults to the date of the first match if no valid date can be found based on the parameters given. So, I guess that is what is going wrong here, for some reason the get_next_match() function does not return a match.

    Difficult to tell what this reason is, without doing some debugging in the code.

    p.s. WordPress shortcodes can work with single and double quotes. Even without any quotes if the parameter does not contain spaces.
