Countdown not always visible

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the plugin. Seems to work great, but I found some different behaviour.

    1) When I add a product to the cart, the site redirects to the cart. Now, the countdown is not shown.

    2) But when I click via the menu on Cart (with some products in it), the countdown is visible.

    How can I get the countdown on option 1) too?

    That is an interesting one. I did a quick test and was unable to reproduce it. I checked ‘Redirect to the cart page after successful addition’ in the WooCommerce settings and it redirected me to the cart page and also displayed the notice with the countdown.

    Can you give some more details on your setup? Theme/plugins installed and versions?

    Any errors/notices showing up in the browser console?

    My setup is WP 5.2.4, WooCommerce 3.8.0, CSR 3.08 and then many more plugins.
    Checked the same setting ‘Redirect to the cart page after successful addition’ in WooCommerce.

    The browser console doesn’t give any relevant errors/notices (only some notices on cookies).

    I do see the style reference and the jQuery script loading wc-csr. But the <div class=”wc-csr-info”> is just not there after the redirect.

    I can’t reproduce the problem with those versions, what “many more plugins” do you have that are WooCommerce related? What theme are you using?

    The plugin uses the WooCommerce notice system to add the countdown so if something else is removing it, redirecting, or some other odd behavior then that would be the conflict.

    Can you share a URL that I can look at and see if there is anything obvious?
