Counterproductive and tedious writing

Event though I like the look of the new interface that allows us to focus on the writing, I find that block system counterproductive and not intuitive.
When writing, we should be more focus on the content and let the inspiration flow instead of fighting with blocks to get the desired text format. Copying and pasting chunk of text is sooo frustrating.
I’ve been using this gutenberg editor for a few weeks now and I am praying for the wordpress team to abandon that project because I cannot imagine myself using this system to write on my blog.
I wanted to suggest a wordpress blog to the people around me who are not familiar with computers, but now with that Gutengerg editor, I don’t think that it’s a good idea.
Writing is soo tedious with the Gutenberg editor ??
