Does this plugin count adblock users as well?

I had inserted google analytics tracking code to my header.php manually, but it won’t track users with adblock in their browser.

Can this plugin use the same tracking code I have already, just make a way for counting visitors with adblock as well.

I just need visitor number, no add, or other “advanced” analytics.

  • Hi There,

Since the Adblock browser extension blocks analytics.js from being loaded MonsterInsights won’t count those users.

You can search for some plugins to block Adblock users (and there are many) I don’t have any I have personally have tried and can recommend.

While there are many other options for tracking your stats most of these are significantly less accurate than MI and GA by a very large margin.

This is because while GA doesn’t count Adblock users, many other stats software counts all sorts of bots so these numbers will be much higher than they should be– assuming you want to primarily count people (real visitors) and not bot traffic.

We have a doc on this matter:

    Thank you,
