I wanted to double check to make sure it wasn’t a conflict of something else, but I reverted back to the previous version and everything was back to normal.

I believe the issue is at line 485 (die(bawpvc_format( $count ));.
I know that the wordpress ajax callback must terminate with die()for return a proper response as written in https://codex.www.ads-software.com/AJAX_in_Plugins.
Indeed if I do so I have no counting twice.

Please remove your links from here and rename this :

Double counting is also happening to me. Since then I have disabled the counting, but that’s not what we want to do given all the work Julio has put into it.
