Country missing from checkout form

    We have updated our website to new versions of woocommerce and wordpress, as a result the store has since stopped working. After contacting woocommerce, they have asked me to submit a support request here.

    The error we’re getting at checkout is: You passed an empty string for ‘billing_details[address][country]’. We assume empty values are an attempt to unset a parameter; however ‘billing_details[address][country]’ cannot be unset. You should remove ‘billing_details[address][country]’ from your request or supply a non-empty value.

    I have added a label and placeholder to the ‘country’ field, however only the title of the field appears, not the text box.

    Upon checking, we noticed that the country field is displayed correctly on your checkout page.

    Can you please verify this on your end once again?

    Hi Dina,

    Thank you for checking, we discovered it was a theme update causing the issue. We have since gone back to an older version of the theme.
