    Hi,

When customers visit the checkout page, the County field always seems to be pre-selected to display Leicestershire, so they have to manually change the county to something else. Sometimes customers don’t change the County field, so their correct address might be in another part of the UK, but the county will say Leicestershire, which creates some confusion.

I’m not too sure why it’s showing Leicestershire when customers first visit the page, please can you let me know how to change this so that it shows something like “Please select county” instead, so that customers are aware they need to select their county in the field?

We are running the latest version of the plugin on 1.8.2

    Many thanks,
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

It looks like WooCommerce uses your store location by default. Check the ‘Default customer location’ option in the General WooCommerce settings.

Thanks for getting back to me Dan, I’ve set the “Default Customer Location” setting so that it’s set as “No location by default”, and this looks like it’s fixed the issue.

    Many thanks,
    Andrew
