I have given 5 stars to this plugin without testing everything, but purely by just setting a form, it’s capabilities and possibilities of what it can be accomplished. I have to admit that I still have not tested everything, as a comprehensive testing of such a feature rich plugin will take hours if to be done properly:

That said, by now actually starting to use the plugin as oppose to just setting one up, I ran into 2 bugs, and both are serious enough. My rating will stay at 5 stars, and give some time to the developers to remedy the situation.

My testing environments are the following:

    1. Goddady shared hosting, WP 4.94 (latest), with php 5.x, and about 20 plugins installed.

    Bugs:
    1. Setting email notifications is not possible. The save button for that page does nothing, therefore emails are not sent.
    2. In the Entries screen, even though the list is visible, each entry cannot be found, and the content of the messages are not shown. You get an cannot be found message instead when trying to open an individual message.

    2. Testing environment – Localhost in a Windows 7 PC, with WP 4.9.4 (latest), and php 7.x installed, FRESH WP installation, and no other active plugins.

    Bug:
    1. The email notifications can now be set, so the save button here now works, so that’s good, and verified that emails are now able to be delivered.
    2. However, the individual entries still cannot be found and thus cannot be viewed.

P.S. I sent an email to your gmail account 2 days ago, did you get it?

    Thanks,
    Nick.

By the way, Sorry for late reply because I did not get any notification from WordPress about this as I forgot to add “Support Reps”

Sorry but the latest update broke the entire site, as it has a syntax error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘(‘ /wp-content/plugins/fluentform/app/Providers/CommonProvider.php on line 35.

When I get some free time, I’ll try to debug.

Are you using php version less than 5.4?

    Thread Starter nick6352683

    (@nick6352683)

    Ok, here we go:

On localhost with php 7.x, the syntax error does NOT occur, however…

On shared hosting Godaddy with php 5.4.19 the syntax error is there.

On my localhost now, I will now check what was supposed to be fixed, and report back…

Chrome browser, Windows 7 pc, Localhost, php 7.x

With the latest update I can’t even get to the “Email Notifications” tab. In fact none of the tab links work… So I can’t access the Email Notifications screen, nor the Mailchimp and the Slack pages…

Sorry, I thought there was a 1.3.0 version… so yes, my latest bug report was for 1.3.1

Take your time, I’m waiting for the next version.

Getting better, but still not perfect yet !!!

The plugin now works with php 5.4.19.

There are still 2 bugs that need resolving:

    1. In the Settings tabs, I need to click on the tab I want, and then click in the browsers address bar, where at this point correctly the tab’s address is inserted, BUT, I have to manually click on the address bar, press the enter key on the keyboard for the screen to display that tab.

    2. Also I still cannot view the individual entries, just the list. This is true for both sites, php 5.4 and php 7.x.
