Couple of issues or bugs with GA4

    Hi there

    I’ve always been very keen to try this plugin but held off until GA4 was fully implemented. So today I’ve set it up and it’s looking great.

    Just a couple of issues so far.

    The first one is:

    On the Beehive > Google Analytics > Account page, a GA4 profile cannot be saved without also saving a Universal Analytics Profile… even when the current site does not have a UA profile. It just saves the one that happens to be at the top of the list.
    As a result, the Statistics screen has a dropdown to show either profile.

    There needs to be a way to save the GA4 settings without having a UA profile selected.

    The second issue is the displayed data. When I view GA4 data and select one month, the sorting of the days along the bottom of the chart is all wrong. UA data works fine.

    The other data period options are also messed up, though the Year option shows nothing at all. UA data works fine in all cases.

    Hi, we’ve seen two plugin updates since these bugs were confirmed and the issues still remain. The plugin is basically broken for GA4 so I’m surprised it’s still the same. Any news?

    Edit – Ignore this, I’ve just read in another ticket that it’s being fixed in an upcoming release.
