Couple questions and remarks

I am new to this plugin, which looks very close to what I need.
Here my questions:
– when I enable the number of allowed articles and set it to 3, the visitor can read 2. The third one has already the excerpt activated and the nag dialog asking to subscribe or login. It is a detail, but I would understand that this happens on the 4th article.
– as I don’t want to use the admin bar for my subscribers, I would like to add some menus to the navigation which are only displayed when logged in. Do you have any plan for this? (I have modified the profile page so the management is on the frontend and not WP backend) – I don’t want my subscribers to access WP backend.
– currently, when I close my test browser and reopen it I always have 2 free articles. Wouldn’t it make sense to have the ability to set the cookie duration in the settings? I have seen that you have the IP block add-on, but it is not really the same use case.
