Couple Search

    I’d like to create a BuddyPress site that allows the following types of members:

    Male
    Female
    Couple

    To implement, all profiles could have a “gender_1” member field, and only couple profiles would also have a “gender_2” field.

    Searching for an individual member would be easy (e.g. ?gender_1=male). How could I implement a search for couples? A couple could be:

    Male + Male
    Male + Female
    Female + Male
    Female + Female
