I am looking for a way to control the active/inactive status of a member based on the time since his/her most recent membership payment. In other words I would like to create a yearly subscription payment requirement that is linked to access status. If a member fails to pay for renewal at the end of one year, their subscription should be deactivated and they should no longer be able to log on. Ideally they should be kindly prompted to pay after 11 months. In fact, even this would be better than having to constantly monitor a list to see who has paid, an onerous task that should be automated. From what I have been able to see, ProfileGrid does an excellent job of allowing access with a one-time payment. I am using the most recent ProfileGrid Premium option along with RegistrationMagic Premium. I would think this would be a common need. After all, most premium versions of plugins track the time since upgrade and terminate the premium service after one year if the subscription is not maintained.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello Darner,

Thank you for writing to us.

Recurring membership payments is something that is on our roadmap already. This is in planning stage right now as we write down all the possibilities we can achieve with it. You’ll be updated by ProfileGrid’s changelog once this feature is added. Stay tuned!

I wonder if you might be able to advise me on how to remove the default side bar in the user blog window? We have a separate blog on the site that is populating the side bar, creating a bit of confusion.

    Hello Darner,

The sidebar on user blog page is controlled by the site’s theme, not ProfileGrid. You can disable this from your site’s appearance setting, or by applying custom CSS.
