Can I set using points to purchase certain products only?

As for using points to make purchase, must the amount of points be enough to pay the total order amount or partial payment using points and partial payment using other payment method is allowed?

I don’t understand the last thing you asked. Yes the points must be enough to pay the total order amount if using myCred payment gateway, if you are using partial payment you can set the percentage or amount of the order to be paid with points. If 50% should be done with points then the other 50% can be done through cash and through any payment method.

Is the % of partial payment set by admin or the users?
Where can this be set?

Are you telling me that myCred gateway addon enables to use the points for purchasing? Now, I just want to know if users can use the points partially to purchase or they need to pay the whole order all with points with that gateway addon.

Or are you telling me the partial payment option is a paid function?

The partial payment add on is a paid add on. MyCred gateway addon is just a gateway to pay with points for your order.
