Coupon applies to “on sale items”

    Hello, I have some discounts rules working and I also have an specific coupon with the option “Check this box if the coupon should not apply to items on sale…” checked but when I apply the coupon in the cart or checkout page coupon is being applied to all cart items, when It should be only applied to products with no discount rules matched.
    I have checked all my settings and I can’t figure it out.

    Note: I have also a developer environment where this functionallity is working, but I compared all configurations and still can’t realize what is wrong.

    Edit: I have disabled in my discount rules plugin the option let bot run together (about coupons and discounts) cause If I let this active customers could get discount over discount.

    Hi @analistapr03,

    You’ve mentioned that you’ve deactivated a discount rules plugin that you were using. Does the inbuilt discount functionality work as expected given the restrictions/limits you’ve set?

    If it does, I would recommend getting in touch with the authors of the discount rules plugin that you were using.

    No, you missunderstanding.

    There’s an option which let me run discount rules and coupons run together, but I didn’t activate this because the problem is that the option present in the coupon for not apply to items on sale isn’t working, so I’m not sure if the problem is in the discount rules plugin.

    Alright, thanks for this clarification.

    Just to check further, could you perform a conflict test to see whether it doesn’t work when you switch to a default WP theme and deactivated all plugins apart from WooCommerce? Here’s the conflict testing guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    It’s hard for me to do this because our page is on production and as I told you in the developer site this functionallity is working.

    I have searched in some forums and found that this was a woocommerce issue near the 2018.

    But I’m not sure if this was solved at all or I have to do something to fix it.
