Coupon as post type? Custom fields?

  • Are there plans to enable coupons to be a post type so that they don’t need to be embedded in another post type via shortcode?

    Is it possible to add a custom taxonomy field to the coupon? Or compatibility with custom taxonomy/field plugins?
