    Hi there,

    We are a MP for 2nd hand items.
    Currently coupons are not supported.
    I read about the hack how to enable it,
    However, the problem I’m having is that in Dokan the Earning calculation that is made in the Vendor dashboard incorporates the discount that has been applied, which means the coupon that is applied affects the vendor’s earnings.

    Is there a way I can change this so that the earning is calculated on the order without the coupon applied, so that we “the Admin” have to incur the discount charges?

  • Hi @snirchum,

    Currently, the admin commission calculates based on the actual product price. If there is any discount, then the admin commission calculates after the deduction of the product price.

    Choosing to apply the discount on the admin commission instead of the total product price is unavailable in Dokan at this moment.

    Hi @snirchum,

    Since there is no default solution in Dokan as per your requirement, it will require additional customization to achieve.

    In that case, you can contact any developer to get the custom solution, or if you’re familiar with coding, then you can investigate the Commission.php file to achieve your requirement. The file is located in the following directory – wp-content\plugins\dokan-lite\includes.

    It’s a shame that this is the situation.
    Coupons are big part of marketplaces, and the fact you didn’t sort it out doesn’t make sense.

    This is the coupon creation functionality of the vendor. But this works, as I’ve mentioned earlier.

    The feature you’re looking for where the coupon discount will apply either admin commission or vendor earnings is unavailable in Dokan.

    Even not for Dokan pro? Or Dokan interprise? We really need it, and willing to pay…

    I’ve already informed you that the feature is not available in Dokan, even in the premium feature. Currently, we’re working on this feature. But we’re unable to provide any ETA about it.
