    Hello,

First off, let me say “thanks!” for the great plugin. Other than the issues we’re experiencing, it’s really useful.

That being said, we’re running into a problem with our cart and applying coupons that are restricted by payment method. We’ve got 3 payments methods; Credit Car, PayPal, Affirm. Credit Card is set as the default via the drag/drop options in the Woo checkout options.

Regardless of browser or session, if you go to the site and add an item to your cart, then attempt to add a coupon code via the cart page (try the coupon code “save30”), it’s saying that the coupon isn’t valid for the selected payment method. This particular coupon is setup to be usable with the Credit Card and PayPal payment methods, but not Affirm. Since we’re in the cart and not on the checkout page, there shouldn’t technically be a payment method selected yet, however we receive this error no matter what.

It seems if you then go to the cart page and play around a bit with the payment methods, then go back to the cart and try to add the coupon, it works. But consistently the very first time on a fresh browser, it doesn’t.

Any thoughts on a solution for this issue? We appreciate your time.

    There are three options:

    – Only allow coupons to be entered on the checkout page
    – Convert the coupon to an ‘auto coupon’ so it will be automatically be applied when the right payment method is chosen
    – Use the PRO version and check the box ‘Allow applying when invalid’; this will allow the user to apply the coupon anyway, displaying a customizable message that the coupon will be applied once the right method is chosen.

    HI Josk,
    I hope your well
I notice some of the coupon codes are no longer working after i updated to the latest woocommerce.
the coupon code is a fixed amount limited to 1 use by each customers email / account
    if they meet a criteria
for some reason it allows the code to be added but then rejects the coupon code at the checkout saying Coupon usage limit has been reached.
if i turn off the single use option per customer it gets applied
    hope you can help
    Sincerely martin

Thanks Josk. We’re going to purchase the pro version. Quick question, is the pro version on code canyon the same as the pro version from your website?

Yes, they are the same, but currently only the soft79.nl version has automatic update support.
