Coupon not showing in Paypal total

    Good day
    A shop I’m working on encountered a problem where the coupon amount is not showing in the Paypal total. The total in the checkout is correct but is not reflected in the Paypal total.

    I could reproduce the issue on a local WP install with the basic setups and Storefront Theme installed.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Install WP
    2. Install Woo
    3. Install Storefront
    4. Install Paypal Plugin
    5. Create test product with price 100
    6. Create coupon with amount 10 and “Usage limit per user” 1

    The issue seems to be related to the field “Usage limit per user”. When this is set to 1 and the user is logged in, the paypal amount does not reflect the deduction of 10 in the total.

    We understand that you are encountering an issue with coupon amount not showing in Paypal total.

    We appreciate that you shared the steps to replicate this. However, we want to make sure of the plugin that you are using. Can you clarify that if you are using WC Coupon plugin or any other plugin?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    The only plugins that are installed and active are WooCommerce and Payment Gateway Plugin for PayPal WooCommerce ( Free ). A default WooCommerce Coupon from the WooCommerce Marketing Menu Section is used.

    We tried to replicate the issue on our test environment but wasn’t successful.

    Can you share your site health data from Woocommerce -> Status -> System Status privately using this link so that we can make the same setup in our test environment?

    Thanks for your patience and bring this issue to our attention. We have noticed that the Woocommerce default function?get_cart_discount_total()??returns zero despite discounts being applied. Therefore, we made some changes in the plugin to calculate discounts using order objects in these situations.
    ?
    This fix will be included in our next official plugin release.
