• I want the coupon to be applied to certain products only, like t-shirts, but not to hoodies. If I add both types of products to my cart I get the message: “Sorry, this coupon is not applicable to the categories: Hoodies and Jackets”, and it doesn’t apply to the cart total at all. If I remove the hoodie from my cart, then the coupon works. I saw in a previous support ticket that someone else had the same problem that was solved by removing the contents of the “Maximum quantity of matching products” field, but I have not put anything in that field.

    Thanks for your help.

Remove the ‘Excluded categories’. This prevents any cart discount to apply when one of those products is in the cart.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have made the suggested change, but it doesn’t give the results that I’m looking for. For example, the coupon should apply to t-shirts, but not hoodies, so, if I buy $48 worth of t-shirts and $44 worth of hoodies, the $100 coupon is applied for $92, but I only want it to apply to the t-shirts, so it should only apply $48. Is that possible?

    Thanks again!

It is a $ 100 fixed cart discount coupon, so the value will always be $ 100 (or the cart total if the cart total is less).

    So, no… it’s not possible.

Ok, thanks for the info. I’ll have to find another plugin then.
Really appreciate the fast help, I’ll give you 5 stars for that even though I can’t use the plugin!
