coupons not working if discounted items in basket

    coupon codes no longer work if there are discounted items in the basket

    they used to work before

    so if someone orders 1x full price item and 1x sale item the discount would apply to the main full price item

    but now it doesn’t

    I have checked the “exclude sale items” button

    so why has this changed? getting hundreds of angry emails from customers every day as they cant get their 10% off the basket if they have sale items in the basket too.

    Can you please share a full screenshot of the coupon restriction page similar to this: https://d.pr/i/MHAnuN and a screenshot of the error message if you are able to replicate the problem on your site?
