    Hi,

Something strange is happening to a few of my students. When enrolled in one of my courses, this happens when they try to access the exam (created with WATU) – see video sent from the student here: https://we.tl/t-BajPl2boZV

It is the exam for the course they are enrolled in, it worked before, but now it tells them this when they click on the link to do the exam of that course:

“In order to see this lesson you first have to be enrolled in the course “Classic Lash Extensions””

“Classic Lash Extensions” is the name of the course they want to take they exam for, which they are already enrolled in.

What is strange is that it works 100% for me as admin. I spend a bit of time but can’t find the issue, can you help?

    Thanks

Sorry, I uploaded via WeTransfer so not sure why its showing ads.

I uploaded the video here as an unlisted video: https://youtu.be/7eyuUz3FtDY

Thanks, unfortunately the video isn’t very useful and is not giving me any hints what could be wrong. Please contact us by email, you will find it on the Namaste official site.

    Thank you for your response.

Kindly let me know what you need me to include in the email I order for you to understand why this is happening.

    Any questions you might have?

At the very minimum we need to see a live link to the site

Sent an email to [email protected]

Just a suggestion, but have you checked the user role setting?

I had a similar problem, with a student being granted access to a lesson, while the “you must be logged in … ” message being displayed also. I transpired that the student had TWO roles set (this can happen if they’re set up manually). I my case they were set as “student” (therefore had access rights) as well as the original standard “User” role (therefore no access rights). Removing the second role of “user” solved the problem.

Thanks for the contribution as usual, Ian. We have identified the problem, it’s two courses with similar names.
