Hello, I know I’m a frequent traveller with the SenseiLMS forum.

    I think I have discovered a bug

I like the grid layout of the course list, which is what I added to a custom page that I created to act as the Course Archive page (mydomain.tld/courses). Unfortunately, it seems not to display all the courses properly!

I have added both a grid and vertical view on this page https://test.lingosing.com/courses/ to demonstrate the problem. The grid view is all messed up (one of the courses has been cut out), whereas the vertical view is completely fine.

I thought I’d done something wrong – but since the other layouts I’ve tested are working, it seems like a bug in the grid view (which is unfortunate because I really like it and want to put it on my website)!

    Could you please confirm this?

    Many thanks

    Hi there, @lingosing

This is interesting! Just to ensure that the issue is not being caused by your theme or a third party plugin, can you please try the steps from here? https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let me know how it goes ??

Even stranger – I found that the lessons would not appear at all until the screen width hit the mobile version, and then suddenly, boom! They appeared!

I found the offset was really ugly (like the block content for the course list was hanging about -80 pixels too far to the left of the left edge of the content block), but I couldn’t just change the left padding to 100, because it would then become too wide as the screen size shifted. I asked ChatGPT to write me some code to force the block to align centre all the time – it created a custom div class and set some parameters for it to align in a fixed way to the edges of the content block through CSS:

I guess I fixed my problem without solving it (ChatGPT solved it)

    Hi @lingosing,

Thanks for letting us know that you’ve fixed your solution for now!

It sounds like the fix had to do with the frontend display, which can often be overridden by plugins and themes. To identify the root cause of this display issue, I recommend ruling out 3rd party plugins or themes first. To do that, would you use the Health Check plugin to get into the Troubleshooting mode for debugging plugin conflicts?
    ?
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
    ?
Health Check?is a tool that can be useful for debugging, though it requires an official default theme like?Twenty Seventeen.?
    ?
On the troubleshooting tab,?you can click the button to?disable all plugins except Sensei?and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site. Then, check if the Course list page displays

If you’d rather not do this on your live site, many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing via deactivating other plugins and themes without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this.

If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicator/

    I hope that helps!
