this post is for the free version Of Master study LMS

Basic requirements for any course or class in real or online must have the following:

Start date and end date, and to be able to control the number of enrolled students

the existing feature call “number of days to access the course.”

so, if I want to enter end date for a course, on May 15th, I have to bring a calendar, and count the days, 1, 2, 3 , 4, ……Walla,,, its 38 days , isn’t silly to count days to get to the expiration date?

another thing, the course registration button should disappear when course expires, right? no students are still able to register.

Please correct me if I am wrong

and before I forget, the count down to the course end is not working, its showing the same number all the time

    Hello

    Thank you for reaching out.

Number of days to access the course. I noticed you’re already familiar with the option to set a time limit for the course. You simply need to specify the number of days the course will be available. From the day you set, it will start counting down, and once the countdown ends, the course won’t be accessible anymore, even for enrolled students.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and sharing your thoughts on the time limit configuration from a user experience perspective. I’ll make sure to pass your feedback along to our team.

The count down to the course end is not working. Regarding the issue you mentioned about the countdown not working on your end, I’ve checked it on my side and it seems to be functioning correctly. However, it’s worth checking if your website meets our system requirements. Here’s the link for your reference: System Requirements.

Controlling the number of enrolled students. In MasterStudy LMS, currently, there isn’t an option to limit the number of students who can enroll in a course. Could you elaborate on scenarios where this limitation would be important for you?

Traditionally, one of the advantages of online courses and educational systems is their scalability—they can accommodate an unlimited number of students, which can be beneficial for both learners and course creators. However, I understand that there may be specific cases where limiting enrollment is necessary. I’ll be sure to forward your feedback to our team. If there’s enough demand from users, we’ll definitely consider adding this feature.

Meanwhile, you may officially propose your feature request using the link below:

If it gains popularity among other users, it has a better opportunity to be planned on the release of future updates.

Please know that your satisfaction, along with that of all our customers, is our top priority. Your feedback is highly valued, and we’re here to ensure your needs are addressed.

    Best wishes!

Let me to provide an answer to this question as well.

The course registration button should disappear when course expires

After the availability period ends, the start/enroll button will remain visible, but the course will become inaccessible to students. They can still register and purchase the course again. Could you please clarify why you prefer that students not be able to purchase the course after the expiration date? The access time limit feature is designed for marketing purposes. If a student is unable to complete the course within the available period, they will need to purchase the course again to continue their learning.

    Have a nice day!

    Lisa
