Cover image without spaces

I tried to replicate this, but on my test instance there is no space between the cover block and the footer. Could you please provide us the URL to your site so we can check the issue?

It should be possible to remove that extra space by inserting the code below in the Additional CSS section within the Customizer. Currently there is a 40px margin on the bottom of that section, that is why that space appears between that section and the footer. The code below will override that value and set it to zero, so the space won’t appear anymore.

    margin-bottom: 0px !important;
}
