Cover photos on user profiles are missing when having buddybuilder activated.
They post normally but show as blank.

I provided a link to a users profile.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

In regards to your query here, checking into the link that you shared, first and foremost, BuddyBuilder does not seem to be activated. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any set cover image to that users’ profiles.

Once you activate the BuddyBuilder plugin, you need to ensure that the BuddyBuilder template that you specify within the BuddyBuilder > Dashboard > Member Profile section supports cover images. In addition, actual cover images need to be set within the individual user profile(s).

I hope this information gets to help.

    Kind Regards,

    John

    Thanks for the reply.

Buddybuilder is active. I tried disabling it again and it then shows the cover image. When having it active, It also pushes up the buddypress members profile like 300px. I fixed that with css but the cover image is not showing. Just black.

I only have “Members directory” and “Site wide activity” Selected on the buddybuilder dashboard page.

Under “Member Profile” i have it set to BuddyPress Default.

Something is preventing the cover image from showing.

I’ve decided the plugin is probably not best to suite me.

I like that it aligns members directory nicely, but I cant figure out how to change little thing like button hovering color etc.

Also the whole profile cover thing

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the frustration.

In this case, if you have set the member profile to “BuddyPress Default”, then that is likely the reason why the cover image is not rendered. I would suggest that you import the BuddyBuilder templates from the BuddyBuilder > Templates. Once this is done, you will have the “Member Profile Starter” BuddyBuilder template set to render on member profiles. It should also render the cover image.

About the hover color on buttons, perhaps you may let us know of the specific buttons in reference so that we can get to properly advise.

I look forward to your reply.

    Kind Regards,

    John

Member Profile Starter – Also does not show the cover image.

When I have “Member Profile Starter” selected, The “media” page on buddypress profiles is completely messed up and all over the place.

There is a lot of bugs. Perhaps something on my website is interfering with your plugin.

I got the cover image to show under Member Profile Starter.
I had to drag the height to make a bigger.

Still the “media” page on profiles is out of whack.

Do you have a preview of the pro version?

Im not crazy about the starter template.

    Hi there,

Thanks for keeping in touch with us.

About the pro version inquiry, commercial products are not supported here and neither are presale questions handled here. Developers cannot support customers on this site.

In regards to the media display query, “Media” is not a default navigation component in BuddyPress user profiles. I can see that you have the rtMedia for WordPress plugin installed. Are you perhaps using this plugin to render the media section on the profile navigation? If so, then this could be the reason why the media navigation gets distorted since BuddyBuilder does not provide templates for the plugins’ media profile navigation component.

I look forward to a confirmation from your end about this.

    Kind Regards,

    John
