CPT UI not showing in ELEMENTOR POST TYPE

No resolution that I’m personally aware of admittedly.

Out of curiosity, have you reached out to Elementor support yet?

I have noticed that when you load the page for “create new Single post Template” there are only 2 options:

1. Select the type of template you want to work with
2. Name Your Template

But using Google Inspect element – the code shows that there is another option (which is not being displayed)

1. Select the type of template you want to work with
2. Select Post Type
3. Name Your Template

The id is “elementor-new-template__form__post-type” which is not displayed.

That’s the BUG!

I would love for someone to confirm that they reached out Elementor support and if at all possible, relay what they say regarding the topic, because as far as I’m aware, the issue stems from their side more than ours. More than happy to try and provide our own documentation on the topic to help others in the future.

Elementor removes the single option since the single option will automatically ask you for a page or post to choose from. Currently, you can create a single post and set the display condition to the Portfolios or any other CPT UI post type. I have tried to create a screencast by adding a single post builder and have assigned the display conditions only to show the post for “Portfolios”. Please refer to the video screencast.

Before publishing the post, you will ask for the display condition, So this is the part where you need to define either it’s for Portfolio or any other CPT posts types or any categories. Please try to add display conditions to the single/archive templates and let us know how it goes.
