    Hello!

I have a strange issue with CPTUI.
Every plugins is up to date and seem to worked fine after the upgrade to WordPress 4.7, but my custom post type is now disappeared from my admin menu.
If I look in CPTUI “edit” entry, my custom post type (“project”) is not displaying anymore.

I wonder if the database is still connecting correctly :/

Do you have any clues to bring back my cutom posts ? For your information, I use an utf8mb4 collation.

    Thank you ??

If the database wasn’t connecting properly, you wouldn’t be able to log into your site, for what it’s worth.

CPTUI doesn’t do anything special regarding collations. We merely store a couple settings in the wp_options table.

When you go to the Import/Export area, and the “post types” tab, do you see anything on the right-side textarea? If yes, then you still have your post type settings. If you see 2 empty textareas, then for some reason, with the update or something else, the settings were somehow lost.

To clarify a detail, that does not mean the posts in the post type themselves were lost, just the stored settings provided to and by CPTUI that are used to register them.

    That’s where I’d check first.

    YEAH MICHAEL!

Thank you very much for your very quick reply. I simply ‘import’ my settings from my local to the production, and my CPT came back instantly.

I dunno why every CPTUI settings have been gone after WordPress 4.7 upgrade, but it’s an old story now ??

Thank you for this very good plugin and your support!

Awesome to hear you had a local copy readily available.

    Thanks ??
