Hi I have created custom post type and custom taxonomy using CPTUI. I have added categories for taxonomy and all the single word categories perform okay, however any two word categories don’t filter correctly. Is there an obvious solution I am missing.

    Hi,

Where are you filtering in this context? Like when trying to add existing terms to the post when publishing? Or are you referring to something on the frontend?

Hi Michael, I am using element pack pro. On the front end there is a post gallery which has custom post category filter. It shows single word categories but not multiple, returns no results. This is the query from inspector. The problem seems to be that the data-filter*=’food and drink’ is not returning the value with hyphens therefore the search query is not showing up in the gallery.

    <li class=”bdt-ep-grid-filter bdt-margin-small-top bdt-active” data-bdt-filter-control=”[data-filter*=’food and drink’]”> Food and Drink
The only thing I can see is there are no hypnens generated in data filter. So not sure if this is the reason and whether the issue is with element pack pro or cptui.
    Thanks

I would definitely reach out to Element Pack Pro support for this as dashes in terms has been an available detail for as long as I can recall.
