• Hi,
I reported a similar issue 5 months ago.
My client has been using the free version of your YITH WOOCOMMERCE AJAX PRODUCT FILTER plugin for quite a while, and its last update to version 4.1.1 has been causing some issues to his website.
The website is hosted on Siteground and it shows me that ever since the plugin was updated (Aug 5) the hosting CPU Seconds has increased significantly and it spiked during the weekend, which ended up causing the website to be down. When I disable the plugin the CPU Seconds goes back to normal.
(The site’s theme is called Quartz, WordPress is updated to version 5.8, all plugins are updated.)
    Thank you,

    Hi there,

we are working on a new version of this plugin. This new version include a new way to manage the filters and with this new method we’ll increase the performance. Could you share to me a screenshot of something similar where I can see this performance issues.

    Hi there,

I’m sorry but unfortunately this screenshot can’t help us to understand the cause of the performance issues.

We need more details about that, something that could be analyzing to understand the cause of the issue. Slow or duplicated query and something like this.

In example, a good tool is NewRelic. You should be use it on your website and when the issue occurs make an export and share the information with us.

    Hi Andrea,
apparently, my hosting plan doesn’t allow me to install NewRelic and I wouldn’t be comfortable doing it by myself. If there is a simpler thing I can do, please let me know.
Otherwise, I’ll take my chances and wait for the new update then and see if this issue goes away.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
the information you can get through New Relic would be the best to check exactly for that.
However, in the meantime, you could try using a cache system to increase the site performances.
You can read how to configure it with here
Please try this solution and let us know what’s the result.
