CPU spikes

  • Getting a spike just after installation is normal as that’s when the plugin scans all posts for links to check. After that, the spikes should normally be much smaller/less noticeable. How big of a spike are we talking here?

    Also, take a look at the “Advanced” tab under Settings -> Link Checker. What are the load and resource usage limits set to? Try decreasing them.

    I’ve been using the plugin for a couple of years or more, just noticed the spiking issue. They run between about 2400 and 6000 cpu cycles and average around 3600. I updated to v1.9.5 and I’ll give your suggestions a try.
