CPU Usage After Upgrade

    Hi,

    I was recently told that my CPU usage was getting to be a joke and in the end was booted from the hosting firm. My new hosting firm said that the best way to resolve this issue was to upgrade from 2.6.2 to a later version (3.0.1).

    I have done this but my CPU usage is even worst as the report states

    My CPU usage is up to 80% and my host is very unhappy and the only reason he has suspended my account is that he’s a mate.
    Did you find any answers to date to curb CPU usage?

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 2.9) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.
