• Gold cart plugin for Wp-ecommerce is worthless code and the support is non existent. Always breaks when WordPress is updated and there is absolutely no support. I submitted a support request because the grid view was having no effect and got no response after weeks. I finally submitted a dispute with PayPal before I got any response at all and then all they said was you have to enable grid view. Oh my god….. I do tech-support as a profession and I have been doing websites for quite some time….

    Crap code and Crap support…

He did in fact seek support. The support tech assigned to his topic was on vacation, so replied a bit later than is usual for us (mea culpa!)

He did, however, respond and attempt to provide support – prior to any refund request or dispute process with PayPal.

Ultimately, his report was regarding “grid view” not working and a slider (which was outside of the purview of our plugin) no longer showing up. Both issues we expressed willingness to help with, but this user made it impossible, as neither were available any longer and he wasn’t willing to re-enable them to allow us to debug the issue.

Ultimately, this review is a complaint against his experience with our premium plugin, which was problematic for him – not WP eCommerce.

There continues to be a lack of understanding here. At this very moment the grid view is enabled as I said and has no effect on the display of the products page. The slider I was referring to is on the products page and is still there but not enabled in any way by me and the products page is not user editable so I can’t get rid of it. No doubt part of the problem is getting any clear understanding across as the what the problem is. Hence the review….
