• Hello.

    I’ve two sites and after last update both are crashed.
    I don’t remember the error but the reason seems to be incorrect updating files.
    After delete plugin folder and upload, everything is ok.

  • Hi, are you saying that both sites crashed after you updated our plugin? Or did you update other plugins, theme or WordPress?

    Thank you

    Yes, both sites crashed with your plugin.

    The error after incomplete update in debug mail is:
    E_COMPILE_ERROR in line 33 /home/********/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/easy-wp-smtp.php. Error code: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘easy-wp-smtp-admin-menu.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php71/root/usr/share/pear’)

    After delete and reupload your plugin everything is worked again.
    Seems to be your are problem at your update procedure.

    Thank you for sharing more information. Are you currently running PHP 7.1 in your server?

    Thank you

    I am getting the same crash on my website – just updating this plugin.

    The error message is simply:

    “There has been a critical error on your website.”

    Re uploading the older version resolves the issue.

    I am running PHP 7.0

    Thanks
