  • I’m in the same boat. A problem in line 60 of some php file.

I have a second site that doesn’t use this plugin and it has upgraded to the latest version of WordPress no worries (and they both share many other plugins).

Do we have an ETA for a fix please?

The fix was posted by us here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/version-2-10-1-crashes-sites-backend/

…but if today’s update hasn’t sorted it (which it has) you’ll need to clear your WordPress/browser/Cloudflare cache (if you use it).

Question: I have deactivated the plugin cause of the crash problem. Is it possible to add a different plugin in the meantime to “fix” a portion of a snippet that was disengaged because of the problem. Eg. I have fontawsome code that also uses CSS to put icons in secondary navigation.
Can I put the php snippet into another plugin temporarily to get it working while code snippets is deactivated?
    Thanks
    Howard

    It’s a simple to fix.

    1. Go into your cpanel
    2. Locate Plugins
    3. Rename the code-snippets folder name to say code-snippets_x
(This will then disable that plugin)
    4. Login backend and it will say it’s been disabled!
    5. then go back to cpanel and rename as was before.
    6. Back in dashboard update the plugin and it should work.

    Good luck
