Crashed Server after making chages

  • Hi ive got this showing on my site. Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    this was after installing and making a few changing with the beter – wp – security plugin. it occurred after i tried to change the admin login link which made reference to changing the permalink structure. what do i do to resolve this. thanks its on version 3.5.3

    I guess you’ve enabled the “File Change Detection” feature. This feature needs high amount of memory. Some webhost shared plans don’t provide enough memory, if you enable the feature you may get the error: 500 internal server error.

    Usually you can temporary fix it by renaming (or deleting) the plugin folder. After that you can perform a clean (un)installation and reconfigure the settings of this plugin.
