    Besides not being updated to PHP 5.4 code-wise (throwing illegal string offset warnings and the like) and STILL being unable to correctly link to the “managing“ page when WP is installed in a subdirectory (the dev acknowledged this bug years ago), this plugin now also critically interferes with posting or updating posts and pages: the backend won’t reload after posting (defaults to a blank page), and although the content is indeed posted correctly, the backend (after reloading) didn’t notice and starts nagging away.

    As the double-opt-in plugin is indeed the only solution to legally offer comment subscription in an ?Abmahnungs?-crazy country like Germany, this is a major letdown.

    Hi mbrsolution,

    Gave everything a thorough check:
    – “illegal string offset” warnings are gone;
    – the link to the “managing” page works correctly;
    – posting and updating posts works like a charm again.

    Looks like everything’s been fixed! Awesome!

    Thank you (really!), and kind regards,
    J.
