Crashes Site(s)

Hi,
Love the idea of this plugin as it would help one implement aggressive caching strategies and still be able to use a recent posts widget.
That said, does it have specific PHP requirements? I ask, as we tried to install it on 3 different sites and it crashed every one of them.
