Crashing with server 500 error

    Hi.
    I have thousands of posts in the same category, and without tags.
    There is no clear way how I could filter on any other criteria to make the job of assigning one of a bunch of random images to posts without a featured image.

    I tried many times. Every time the plugin crashes with error internal server 500

    Hello Marc, without any filter your task crashes at a server timeout error (one of the sources of a 500 error). Thousands of posts in one single process is too much.

    You can set the featured images manually. That is for thousands of posts nearly impossible. I think a faster way is to assign bunches of posts – lets say approx. 50 posts – some tags and use the tag filter during a bulk edit tag by tag.

    Another chance is the Pro version with a lot of filters, e.g. by date to bulk edit posts month by month. More at quickfeaturedimages.com.
