Customizr [UNresolved] Create 8 Featured Pages In Child Theme (10 posts)
Note to WebPerson, I am Not Bumping this up
RdellConsulting,
I just wanted to let you know that I am not flagging out and asking you to do all the work, I am studying all this and practicing as well.
The other day you assisted me with a host of information of which I am truly grateful.There is but one item of which I am not able to understand your respons and would like some clairification.
I asked the following:
Can you assist me with the second question about the tables with the two (2) featured photos in the table.Example: https://ccbra.ro/categorii/general/
I then went on stating….
I am sorry to keep asking you, but I would like to let’s say create a page and have like a table in it, lets say 4 cells within a table and within each cell I would like to have text along with a round photo that zooms and this photo would have a link to wherever I wanted to set it.
Something like this page with only 2 cells
https://ccbra.ro/categorii/general/
Thanks you so much,
Deirg
And your reply was:
You should avoid using Tables, very bad form these days!
Read this Snippet which explains the basics behind Twitter Bootstrap 2 which is the framework to Czr.
But if you have FPU, couldn’t that do it for you with 1×4 grid? Then you’ll need this Snippet to point to your URLs.
Afterthought: You’re talking about a page, not the Front Page?
I have since read the article of which you directed me to do so and it appears that I would like to create a page with a gid structure of
3/4 – 1/4 layout
1/4 – 3/4 layout
3/4 – 1/4 layout
1/4 – 3/4 layout
For the 1/4 – 3/4 layout the article instructs me to do the following:
So the Final grid should be
<div class=”row-fluid”>
<div class=”span9″>…</div>
<div class=”span3″>…</div>
</div>
<div class=”row-fluid”>
<div class=”span3″>…</div>
<div class=”span9″>…</div>
</div><div class=”row-fluid”>
<div class=”span9″>…</div>
<div class=”span3″>…</div>
</div>
<div class=”row-fluid”>
<div class=”span3″>…</div>
<div class=”span9″>…</div>
</div>
Am I getting Close?
I did as the article states and clicked on “TEXT” and pasted the code within the “editor”.
Okay I am getting there a bit.
Please review the page I made at https://bubblemaids.com/?p=194
Okay I got the first part, but within the same article it argues about Twitter BootStraping. I have read that article and have no clue.
You later mentioned the following “But if you have FPU, couldn’t that do it for you with 1×4 grid? Then you’ll need this Snippet to point to your URLs.
Afterthought: You’re talking about a page, not the Front Page?
I don’t know what FPU means?
So were in full circle again.
I want to know how I can have my images do the zoom thing like
https://ccbra.ro/categorii/general/
I think I’m getting close.
Thank you
