Create a Client Demo Site

  • Hi
    I am looking for a way to let my clients try WordPress for a limited time on a demo site. The clients are new to WP so I want to give them access to a ‘try out’ site that lets them build pages, add text and images etc.
    Is there an easy way to do this or a plugin I can use?

  • I use a sub-directory install of WP to create a demo site for each client. So, if my main site is https://mydemosite.com, the site for client-a will be https://mydemosite.com/client-a/ in subdirectory client-a off my main site.

    That way each client has their own WP installation, database and all. When they are done, I can delete the entire client-a subdirectory and database to clean up.
