Create a filter for releases and coverages

    It has been a while sir and I hope that you’re doing fine,

    I was wondering if there is a possibility to include and display a filter for releases and coverages for my nooz articles ? If there is a nooz native functionality for this such as a shortcode, it would be great. Otherwise, what plugin should I use (Your recommendation btw) ?

    PS : Is Nooz abandonned ? There hasn’t been any update for 3 years now.

    hi @samisaker1987, Nooz is not abandoned … dedicated dev time has been up and down. We do have plans on adding dedicated taxonomies to Nooz (e.g. Category and Tags) which would allow native filtering out-of-the-box in Nooz. Part of this dev has already been completed, but is yet to be fully tested and released.

    If you need this functionality immediately, I would recommend adding it yourself, using WordPress functions for creating taxonomies and attaching it to the “nooz_release” and “nooz_coverage” post types.

    I don’t have any plugins that I use often which i can recommend … I’ll try to share some code to assist in this when i have a longer moment.

    – Are you pointing the “functions.php” file ?
    – If I am mistaking, can you give me an example ?

    Although you are working on a filtering module, is it possible to show me (CSS Code) on how to :

    – Put article description on the right side instead of bottom ?

    – Put articles in a column fashion where the image is wide enough as to display only one Press release per row ?
