I had permanently deleted the mobile version of my home page. Now I want to make a new version but there is no option to do so. There is no option to add a mobile version.

I had earlier done the same process(of deleting and creating a new mobile page) a couple times but haven’t faced this issue. Please help me out.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @harshsanthalia

When you trash a page the plugin unlinks the mobile version if any. Probably this didn’t work, maybe due to a problem that occurred on the server, conflicts with other plugins…

I suppose now your homepage is linked to a mobile version that doesn’t exist anymore, this is why you can’t create a new mobile version.

But you can manually unlink the mobile version by checking the page, selecting the bulk action “Unlink mobile version”, and clicking on Apply.
Please, have a look at this picture: https://josemortellaro.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/specific-content-for-mobiile-unlink-mobile.png

    I hope it helps.

Thank you Jose for the help. I am facing another issue. The “EDIT WITH ELEMENTOR” option works only for the first time after I have created the mobile version of the page. When I click on the option later it shows an error as under:

” SORRY THE CONTENT AREA WAS NOT FOUND IN YOUR PAGE “
You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template,
in order for elementor to work on this page

Can you please help me out with this. Thanks.

    Hi @harshsanthalia you are welcome.

I will try to reproduce the same issue.

Until this issue with Elementor is fixed, I suggest you the plugin Editor Cleanup For Elementor. It’s an add-on of Freesoul Deactivate Plugins, so you need also to install FDP.

After activation, go to Elementor => Editor Cleanup => Outer Editor, and disable Specific Content For Mobile. But you can disable all the plugins in the outer editor. Then try again. Let me know if it works.

I’m not able to reproduce the same issue. Are you sure you have the last version of Specific Content For Mobile?

If you install Editor Cleanup For Elementor, disable SCFM both in the Outer and Inner editor.

If you still have the problem, try to disable Specific Content For Mobile from the page of plugins, and try again. If it still doesn’t work it means SCFM has nothing to do with this issue.

    Let me know.
