Hi WPforms, I’m stuck in creating a stacked layout. I tried following this link that you responded with the same issue that I am having however it redirect on just creating a column.

    link: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/two-columns-one-row/

My goal is similar to his request. To have a set of fields in ONE COLUMN and a set of field on the other column not just 1 field per column per row.

    Please advise,
    Carl

  • Hi @ccmanz,

It seems the linked document in that thread has been redirected. We’ll need to look into that.

In the meantime, I believe you might actually be looking for this article instead, which provides details on how to create a multi-column layout. Please take a look here – https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-create-multi-column-form-layouts-in-wpforms/

    I hope this helps!

    Hi @henrycee,

    My apologies for responding late.

Unfortunately, that link you provided only works with 1 field per column. I was hoping if creating a stacked layout would be doable in wpforms.

    Something like this??

    Row 1 | Name | Question w/
          | Email | 8 checkboxes
          | Phone |
Row 2 | Message (paragraph, full width)

    Please advise,
    Thanks

    Hi @ccmanz,

Sorry for misunderstanding your question earlier, and thank you for clarifying!

Unfortunately we do not have any built in options to achieve this kind of multicolumn layout at this time.

It would be possible with custom CSS, however I apologize as customizations like this are outside of our scope for support. In case you’d like to look into custom development options, we highly recommend using Codeable.

In the case that it helps, the CSS attribute you would be looking to implement is CSS grid. You can find some details about it here: https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/complete-guide-grid/

I’m sorry for not being able to provide a direct resolution, but I hope this helps!

    Hi @ccmanz,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
