    Hi,

We′ve marked the “Allow customers to place orders without an account” option in Woo settings, and “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” also.

I′ve checked that its possible to buy a product without creating an account,
but when the “Ship to a different address” option is selected in the checkout page, I′ve notice that a username and password are required, so in this case, to create an account is mandatory.

We want to allow buying without creating an account in any case, how could we do it?

    Thanks in advance,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is not expected behavior. If guest checkout is allowed, customers should not be required to create an account regardless of the same or different shipping address.

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. To determine what’s causing the issue, please temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable plugins one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, you were able to find a solution to your problem! If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.
