Create Attachments

  • I need a way to create attachments (or, more preferably some new post-type) from a plugin. Is there anyway to create attachments to a post the same way the gallery currently does, but from a plugin?

    I’m a plugin author that is looking to add a new feature.

    I guess a better way to say this is that I’m looking for a way to store wordpress attachments on flickr. My site is on shared hosting and I’m looking for a better way to manage my photos than having them saved on my hosting account, but I’d still really like to be able to use the WordPress gallery structure.

    Sorry, this isn’t meant to be a bump. I just realized that the way it was worded may not have made sense.
