Create external link from tab….

Hi there..
I’d like to link to an external site from a tab (page). From the tab itself!!!!
I created a page… then in the ‘Write Page’ area… I tried to include a code (ex.: Portfolio )
it seems to ALMOST work.. but theres a little square that links to the wordpress page.

Like I said, theres got to be a way!
Any suggestions?
