Create Homepage from Downloaded Template

  • Hi and hope you can help. Fairly new to FSE. Found a great theme for our new site (Exo), but am stumped as how to make the theme’s main page the homepage. I see that the content is in a group between the header and footer blocks and that’s the content I’d like to be on the homepage, along with the header and footer templates.

    The page is not listed in the drop down in Settings-> Reading so I can’t select it to make it the homepage.

    All WordPress and plugins are up to date; OS is Windows 7.

    This is likely a very newbie question due to my novice stature with FSE, but I can’t seem to find the answer in the tutorials I’ve taken previously. I don’t want to make changes in the group section until I know what I’m doing!

    Any help will be greatly appreciated!
