Create Index Page with New Sidebar or …

Hi there,
you will need to add a parent category, and then add the categories you need to filter a child ones. Then Add this parent category as a menu item. Use the default Categories widget for your filtering while You can use a plugin/module like Jetpack’s widget visibility https://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/ (or event without Jetpack https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/widget-visibility-without-jetpack/ )or Widget Logic https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/widget-logic/ to hide the category widget in other pages/categories.

I was thinking to make it happen without adding any plugin; however, I do add one plugin to help create the index page.
